I started my journey with Lahash International as a child sponsor almost 6 years ago! And recently I celebrated one year of serving on staff with the media team!
I have the incredible opportunity to travel to Kenya and Rwanda this summer! I will meet the children in the Lahash Sponsorship Program at two African-led ministries, connect with local leaders for a week-long conference in Kigali, Rwanda, AND meet my sponsor child, Bruno!!
My role as a storyteller perfectly blends my heart for global ministry with my journalism and ministry media background. On this trip I will interview staff, take photos and videos of the children, and listen to the stories of partners and kids to share with the global community.

Erin has been involved in ministry service for many years, and initially met her husband while they both worked at Portland Rescue Mission. They moved to Canada to help pastor a local church made up of many nationalities, and continue to have a heart for God's work around the world.
Their family has been connected with Lahash as sponsors for many years and after moving back to Portland, Erin joined the staff of Lahash as a Media Specialist. With a degree in Journalism and Biblical Studies, she is gifted in storytelling, photography, writing, and has experience in social media communication, video, and events. She and her husband Andrew have two children and live in the Portland area.
