02 Apr A Mile In Their Shoes
This Saturday, my family headed over to the track not far from our house. My kids think it is pretty weird (and maybe a little cool) that I’m spending much of this month without shoes. But today they were ready to jump into the Shoeless Safari. Together we circled the track four times barefoot to “walk a mile in the shoes” of kids in East Africa who need sponsors. I’m really proud of my kids for taking a step to better understand the struggles of other kids around the world. Check out the video we made to help raise awareness. Join us by sponsoring a child today, or by taking your own Shoeless Safari to help spread the word!
Today the whole family jumped in on the Shoeless Safari (well, Lucy jump roped in…). Together we walked a mile barefoot to support kids who need sponsors. Sponsor today a www.lahash.org. #shoelesssafari #mileintheirshoes
