Here at Lahash we are so thankful for the courageous ministries we partner with, for the sponsors we’re connected to, and for the amazing kids that we all serve together. Our friends in East Africa are giving thanks to God, and stirring our hearts to praise and thanksgiving as well. We hope you enjoy reading these thankful messages from kids in Tanzania.

I am thankful for the Bible camp which opened my mind and my soul, especially on the session of discipleship, prayers and deliverance. I gained a lot of confidence, and now I am strong enough to tell others about Jesus Christ.
I am thankful for my health. I had lost hope because my condition was very bad, and all medication were not working. I did not know that I will be able to do my exams for school, but God did a miracle through prayers I prayed, and my teachers prayed too. God heard our prayers now I am doing well. Praise be to God.
I am thankful for attending Bible camp this year where I received Jesus Christ in my life. God helped me and gave me peace which I cannot explain. Before I was unhappy, but now I am happy and released. In September I attended the prayer conference in Arusha, and I was blessed to be encouraged in my spirit. Now I am happy and able to read my Bible and pray everyday.
I am so thankful to God for the miracle of being in school up to now. I had lost hope because I was told that I cannot be able to study. After joining the program I was taken to school. I got good teachers who helped me and when I did my exams I passed to join secondary school. To me this is a miracle. In September I went to the prayer conference, as I was praying I heard God is calling me to serve him. I am happy and I have surrendered my life to Jesus. I want to serve him in my life. Please pray for me.
I am thankful to God for changing my life through Grace & Healing Ministry. I am healed spiritually. I had no peace but now I have peace. I had unseen wounds in my life, but God has helped me through the trauma healing. I received the inner healing this year at the Bible camping and every time I come to the office for the counseling I feel relief. I never believed God but now I believe and live good life,I praise God for that.
I am so thankful to God for helping me to get a nice school. I had lost hope when they stopped my father from working at the school where I was going and they moved me to another school which was very different. I prayed God to open the door for me and God did, I am so thankful. Also this year I went through an operation for my eyes and now I am doing well. God bless Grace &Healing Ministry and my sponsor.
I am thankful to God that he heard my cry. I had no where to stay after the heavy rain this year. Now I have a very nice place to stay. I don’t know what could have happened if I was not registered at Grace &Healing Ministry. I am so happy and I pray that God will continue to bless this ministry and all our sponsors. I am happy to be in the program, and I feel protected when I see the staff caring for me, I praise God for that.
I am so thankful to God, this year I got 20 bags of cement which helped me a lot in building my house. I also praise God that I have managed to retake my exams, I trust him that I will continue on to higher education. Please continue to pray for me.
I am so thankful to God for the healing power upon my grandmother who had eye problems. She went for an operation and now she has recovered well. I also praise God for attending the Bible camp this year. It was so helpful to me, and now I am able to teach others about discipleship.
I am so thankful for the healing power upon my mother, she had problem of her arms. I have been praying for her and God has healed her I praise Him for that.

I thank God so much for the life of my sister Annette who has been sick suffering from sickle cell, the Lord has been so merciful to her because she still has her life. I also thank God for enabling me to do my exams well and am happy because I will move to the next class next year 2017. I am very much grateful also to Lahash for finding a sponsor for me, may the good Lord bless you all.
I am glad because the Lord has been so good to me this year. In the beginning of the year I received a bicycle from my sponsor which has been a source of joy every day, I like riding this bike every evening after school. I want to say a big thank you to the Mullins Family for their support. I also want to thank Lahash for their support. I am praying to God for health and prosperity to all of you.
I thank God so much for my family. I am staying with my mother and am glad that the whole of this year my mother has been well not like last year when she was sick most of the time. I also thank God for my studies. I have completed my grade five exams well.
I give thanks to the Almighty for the help and support in my studies. I have improved so much in my academic performance. I thank God so much also for this, and I thank the Path of Hope program for enabling me to attend the one-on-one tutorial program. I thank God so much for the life of my family, my mother and my younger sister. I also thank God for providing us with a house and now we have a safe place to live in. I want to thank Lahash and my sponsor for the gifts that I got. I love my bicycle so much because it’s helping me go to school easily. May God bless you.
I thank God so much for my life and the life of my mother and father. My father was jailed for 6 months and now he’s free and he’s back in the family, I’m very happy about this. I thank God so much because I have done my grade four final exams. I hope God will help me out to pass with flying colors.
I thank God for love, care and protection upon my life. He has been with me through my studies and even for the exams that we did. I was sick but now I am well. I thank God for health.
