PARTNER PRAYERS FOR 2023

Each year our partners across East Africa join the Lahash staff in a day of prayer to begin the new year. It is such a blessing to lift our thanks, joys, struggles, and requests up to God as we start a new year of ministry together. Recently, each of our partners shared a list of prayer items that they are inviting the Lahash community to join them in praying for.

We welcome you to join us in prayer for our partners and the kids they serve on January 9th during our annual Day of Prayer, and also to join us anytime throughout the year in lifting up these requests to God. Thank you for praying with us!

Path Of Hope - Tanzania:

1. Pray for protection and good health for all our sponsored children and their families.

2. Pray for Standard 7 and Form 4 graduates. Standard 7 students are waiting to join secondary schools or vocational training. Form 4 students are waiting for national examination results in order to continue with further education.

3. Pray for unity and solidarity for all POH staff and church leaders in implementing POH vision and mission.

4. Pray for all our program children to increase with wisdom and stature, and in favor with God and others.

5. Pray for POH staff’s families - specifically remember Joshua and Eliza’s baby daughter for quick recovery as she has struggled with her health since she was born in July 2022.

Grace & Healing Ministry - Tanzania:

1. Thank God for protecting us all the year 2022, together with the children in the program and their families. 

2. Thank God for the Lahash team and their families as well as all the sponsors. 

3. Pray for our children in their studies - may God protect them in order to reach their dreams. 

4. Pray especially for the kids with health issues who are in the Nutrition Program as well as their families. 

5. Pray for our daily activities as we love and serve the vulnerable in our community - may God be with us.

Nipe Tumaini - Kenya:

1. Pray for God’s strength for everyone in the home, at the school, and on the farm.

2. Pray for rains and favorable growing seasons.

3. Pray for God’s provision in building the Junior High School so we can provide the next level of education for our Nipe Tumaini kids and students from the surrounding area.

4.  Pray for God’s provision in buying a school bus to ease our transportation needs.

ERM - Rwanda:

1. Pray for our church planting venture and the construction of the church hall that must match the government standards. It still needs a lot of support to come to completion. Pray that this year 2023 God will provide and we can see it come to completion. 

2. Our kids are growing and now we are seeing our first high school graduates. Pray for those who are in their final year to do well in school, and also that we will be able to support them through university or polytechnic colleges.   

3. Pray for growth so that through partnership we can reach more kids and possibly start another project at our campus in the eastern province.  

4. Pray for a car for the program to use.

5. Pray for Agnes and Sarah who are expecting - may the rest of their prenatal time remain healthy and may they both have a safe delivery.  

Albino Peacemakers - Tanzania:

1. Thank God for his protection over us from January 2022 until now. God for us is Ebenezer. He has done many good things for us, our children, and our families.

2. Pray for our donors, the Lahash East Africa staff, and the Lahash Portland staff so that God will continue to give them good health and wisdom.

3. Pray for us for our Lahash organizational development plans, along with all ongoing services on behalf of the children.

4. Pray for the spiritual growth of the children that they may flourish in their communities. Pray for the preparation of the projects we plan to do, especially agriculture.

5. Pray for the children's gifts and talents so that they continue to grow.

6. Pray for our children to be healthy, especially during this time when they are on holidays from their studies and most are at home.
