Emily Helt

Emily has been involved in service and ministry in a variety of nations in Central America, Africa, and Asia over the years. This rich and diverse perspective informs her leadership over our Sponsorship Program, along with a compassionate heart for kids and an attentiveness to the dynamics of offering care in cross-cultural contexts. 

Since joining Lahash in the spring of 2021, Emily has been immersed in the Sponsorship Program, and now works closely with our East Africa Team and ministry partners to develop and improve the ways holistic care is provided for the vulnerable children we serve. Emily has an MA in Global Development and Justice from Multnomah University and lives in Portland, Oregon.
