Come be a part of bringing holistic care and hope in Christ to East Africa’s most vulnerable children.

Watch our new video for a behind-the-scenes look at what makes working at Lahash so unique! From ministry in East Africa to shared meals and spiritual growth right here in Portland, we are creating a culture where children and staff can all thrive!

STAFF & VOLUNTEER POSITIONS

We currently have several staff positions open at Lahash:

We are also looking for volunteers in Portland, Oregon, with skills in program management, administration, finance and accounting, media creation, grant writing, or office work. Whatever your passion, we need you!

You can also volunteer from wherever you are by joining our Advocate Team and getting custom resources to engage your church, friends, and community in changing lives across East Africa.

Please email info@lahash.org to inquire about any of these staff or volunteer opportunities.

FUNDRAISING & BENEFITS

All Lahash staff members serve as missionaries with Lahash International, where their salary comes from the financial partnership of their churches, friends, and family. Lahash provides extensive training for this process and ample time during a normal work week to maintain and expand a personal support team. The process of raising financial support is a mix of challenges, new discoveries, increasing joy, and spiritual growth. If you have questions about our methods for this process, please contact us.

Joining the Lahash team provides:

    • A mission-driven culture that allows you to use your gifts and talents to serve the vulnerable and support our local East African ministry partners
    • Yearly travel opportunities to serve in East Africa
    • Generous paid time off with vacation and sick pay
    • Flexible schedules and a Sabbatical program after 7 years
    • Regular spiritual development, worship, prayer, community gatherings and connection opportunities for all staff
