Saggiah Thomas Wright grew up in Kenya on the banks of Lake Victoria, near the Tanzanian border. He completed his B.A. in Sociology/I.T. at Maseno University in Kenya, and then worked as the Coordinator for a Food Security and Sustainable Livelihoods (FSSL) project, and as the head of the Path of Hope Management Committee. The area of northern Tanzania where these projects are located is known for extreme poverty and food insecurity, so Saggiah’s role was key in improving life for many children and families. Now he has joined the Lahash East Africa team as the Partnership Development Coordinator, and is living in Machakos, Kenya, together with his wife Enrica and their two young sons.
