20TH ANNIVERSARY GALA IS A HUGE SUCCESS!
On November 8, our Lahash community in the Pacific Northwest gathered for a celebratory Gala to mark 20 years of ministry and to support a big step into the next two decades.
We had 278 registered guests and together raised $74,580 to help provide hope in Christ and holistic care for the 600 kids in the Lahash programs. Thank you for the huge outpouring of generosity!
During the evening we enjoyed several highlights:
- A keynote speech by Emmanuel Sitaki Kayinamura from Rwanda on what God has been doing in Rwanda during the past two decades
- Beautiful worship music from East Africa from the International Prayer Gathering Choir
- A lively auction with several fun packages and two surprises!
- A delicious meal and African market with crafts and coffee for sale
- Some comments by Founder Dan Holcomb
- A brand new video highlighting the story of Sekwat and featuring video from our early days as a ministry
- A special message from Jojo Namuddu about being cared for by international sponsors as she grew up in Uganda
