FUNDRAISING & BENEFITS
All Lahash staff members serve as missionaries with Lahash International, where their salary comes from the financial partnership of their churches, friends, and family. Lahash provides extensive training for this process and ample time during a normal work week to maintain and expand a personal support team. The process of raising financial support is a mix of challenges, new discoveries, increasing joy, and spiritual growth. If you have questions about our methods for this process, please contact us.
Joining the Lahash team provides:
- A mission-driven culture that allows you to use your gifts and talents to serve the vulnerable and support our local East African ministry partners
- Yearly travel opportunities to serve in East Africa
- Generous paid time off with vacation and sick pay
- Flexible schedules and a Sabbatical program after 7 years
- Regular spiritual development, worship, prayer, community gatherings and connection opportunities for all staff
Lahash International is both an equal-opportunity employer and a faith-based religious organization. We conduct hiring without regard to race, color, ancestry, national origin, citizenship, age, sex, marital status, parental status, membership in any labor organization, political affiliations, or disability of an otherwise qualified individual. The status of Lahash International as an equal-opportunity employer does not prevent the organization from hiring staff based on their religious beliefs so that all staff share the same religious commitment.
Pursuant to the Civil Rights Act of 1964, Section 702 (42 U.S.C. 2000e 1(a)) Lahash International has the right to, and does, hire only candidates who agree with Lahash International’s Statement of Faith.
