Lahash named “2023 TOP-RATED NONPROFIT”
We are excited to announce that Lahash has been named a “2023 Top-Rated Nonprofit” by GreatNonprofits, a leading website for community recommendations of charities and nonprofits.
“We are honored to be named a 2023 Top-Rated Nonprofit,” says Daniel Holcomb, Executive Director at Lahash. “We are proud of all God has accomplished through us this year as we continue to serve and love vulnerable kids in Jesus" name. We've added 80 new children into our Sponsorship Program, and recently celebrated ten students graduating from university or higher education! In our focus on discipleship and spiritual growth, we sent over 240 kids to Bible Camps and celebrated a number of baptisms throughout the year.”
The Top-Rated Nonprofit Award is based on the rating and number of reviews that Lahash received from volunteers, donors, parters in East Africa, and children in their programs. Kay Pagh, a longtime volunteer with Lahash shared, “I do the bookkeeping for Lahash as a volunteer. I am impressed by their complete accountability in using the funds donated for staff support and for the children's sponsorships. I am also impressed by each of the staff members' dedication and love they have for Lahash and their wanting to increase the sponsorship of children in Africa. It has been great hearing about children who were young when their sponsorship started, that are now serving Jesus and graduating from college because of Lahash.”
