THE VOICE OF HOPE
Every week, and especially on Sundays, Jessica Yoram steps into Nyemo FM radio in Dodoma, Tanzania, ready to share the word of God with hundreds of thousands, perhaps millions, of listeners across the nation. Speaking on the radio is no small feat; such opportunities are so rare. Yet, through divine connections and against the odds, Jessica has found a platform at Nyemo FM to proclaim the message of God.

When I asked Jessica how she identified her calling to share the word of God, she replied, “I found my voice through the Grace and Healing Ministry’s (GHMD) discipleship and mentorship program, and now I can't look back. I'm committed to blessing others with the power of God's word through my voice.”
Isaiah 52:7 states, “How beautiful on the mountains are the feet of those who bring good news, who proclaim peace, who bring good tidings, who proclaim salvation, who say to Zion, 'Your God reigns!'” Jessica's radio messages are bringing Good News across the mountains and plains of Tanzania.
Jessica's remarkable speaking ability didn't emerge overnight. She joined the the Lahash Sponsorship program at just 10 years old, participating in discipleship and mentorship under the guidance of the local GHMD staff. Now, she is well-equipped to spread the Gospel. Currently, she is a final-year student in the higher education program at St. John University, pursuing her undergraduate degree in education.

In her spare time, Jessica also speaks at various evangelistic events and visits different primary and secondary schools in Dodoma, encouraging people of all ages to know God and inviting them to Christ.
The staff at the local Lahash partnership GHMD, now known as the Hope and Healing Ministry, take immense pride in Jessica’s accomplishments. They continually motivate her to aim even higher. “Jessica is so passionate about the word of God; she is a truly gifted speaker. We are happy that she has found the right channels to share her love for Christ with the world,” said Godrich, the local mentorship program coordinator.
Jessica's voice passing across the radio waves, sharing messages of hope and inspiration with many listeners both near and far, uplifting their spirits, serves as a wonderful example of how the work of the Lahash ministry continues to bless many communities in the East Africa region.
