ABOUT LAHASH
Lahash International partners with local churches and ministries across East Africa to help bring holistic care and hope in Christ to the most vulnerable children in their communities. Based in Portland, Oregon we connect these special kids with caring sponsors which allows lives to be changed on all sides.Lahash is the Hebrew word for whispered prayer– a reminder that God hears the voiceless and remembers the forgotten. Through the compassionate care of a global community that is joining with God’s work in East Africa, these vulnerable children and families are finding hope. Since beginning in 2005, Lahash has grown to partner with several local ministries founded and run by committed East African leaders serving over 500 children in the countries of Tanzania, Rwanda, Kenya, and Uganda. Together, we confront the effects of extreme poverty at the grassroots level to help these children embrace healing, experience holistic care, and find hope for the future.
